Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his two-day official visit to Russia. Its his second visit in three months to Russia.He is thier to attend the BRICS Summit. The prime minister will attend the summit in Russia’s Kazan with Russia’s Putin, China’s Xi Jinping, Brazil’s Lula da Silva, and South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa.
The Prime Minister’s visit holds particular importance not only because of the key international forum but also due to India’s pivotal role in mediating peace between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the progress in discussions with China regarding the situation along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh.
Prior to the BRICS summit, PM Modi highlighted the need for close collaboration among member nations. Upon arriving in Kazan, he posted on X, stating, “This is a significant summit, and the deliberations here will help shape a better world.”
