Overwhelmed by unachievable targets, Tarun Saxena leaves a message highlighting personal struggles and a plea for family unity
Tarun Saxena, a 37-year-old area manager with Bajaj Finance, tragically ended his life on Sunday. Found in his Indore home, Tarun’s body was discovered by household staff, along with a suicide note addressed to his wife and family.
The note revealed Tarun’s struggles with severe stress and lack of sleep, with mounting pressure from work and unachievable targets weighing heavily on his mind. In a heartfelt message, Tarun asked his family to take care of each other, and even made a final request to his parents: to expand the house for his family’s comfort.
Police Superintendent Gyanendra Kumar Singh confirmed that Tarun was feeling immense pressure from his work responsibilities, which reportedly included increased targets that he was unable to meet. Tarun’s passing highlights the toll that intense workplace stress can have on individuals, raising questions about support structures within organizations. His family and friends mourn the loss of a son, husband, and father taken too soon.
