
Child Custody Dispute
A 41-year-old man from Thane district, Maharashtra, has been taken into custody for allegedly murdering his wife in a dispute over the custody of their children. The incident involved Nadeem Khan and his wife Amrin, aged 36, who lived in Mira Road and had two children aged 2 and 10.
According to police reports, Amrin had approached the local police station seeking assistance regarding the custody issue. However, as the officers were occupied with other matters, she decided to leave and went to a nearby school to visit her child.
While she was on her way to the school, Nadeem Khan confronted Amrin, leading to a heated argument. In a tragic turn of events, he stabbed her to death during the altercation, as reported by officials from the Mira Road police station. The case highlights the severe consequences that domestic disputes can have, particularly when it comes to child custody issues.
