The name Lawrence Bishnoi has once again made headlines following the murder of senior Maharashtra leader Baba Siddique. One of the accused in the case took to Facebook to claim that the murder was orchestrated by the Bishnoi gang, notorious for being linked to several high-profile killings and extortion cases. Despite this claim, police have yet to confirm Lawrence Bishnoi’s involvement in the NCP leader’s murder.
As the investigation continues, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma shared his perspective on the matter through his X (formerly Twitter) account. In a post, he highlighted Bishnoi’s long-standing animosity towards actor Salman Khan over the killing of a blackbuck.
“Lawrence Bishnoi was just a 5-year-old kid when the deer was killed in 1998. Bishnoi maintained his grudge for 25 years, and now at age 30, he says that his life’s goal is to kill Salman Khan to take revenge for killing that deer. Is this animal love at its peak or god playing a weird joke?” Varma wrote.
The Bishnoi gang, which has been linked to numerous criminal activities, continues to be a focal point in discussions surrounding high-profile extortion and murder cases, with the ongoing controversy only adding to their notoriety.
