The Kshatriya Karni Sena has made a shocking cash offer of ₹1,11,11,111 for the “encounter” of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This announcement was made by Raj Shekhawat, the leader of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, as a form of retribution for the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, a prominent Rajput leader who was shot dead by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in December of last year.
In a video that has circulated on social media, Shekhawat is seen explicitly offering a reward to any police officer who carries out the killing of the incarcerated gangster. Currently, Bishnoi is detained in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail, facing charges related to cross-border drug trafficking. His gang has recently been linked to the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique and a shooting incident outside the home of Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Mr. Gogamedi was murdered in broad daylight while enjoying tea at his home in Jaipur. During the attack, two men he was with opened fire, killing him and critically injuring his security guard. One of the assailants, Naveen Singh Shekhawat, was killed during the ensuing shootout.
Shortly after the assassination, Rohit Godara, a known associate of both the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gangs, claimed responsibility for the crime. Godara took to social media to declare, “I am Rohit Godara Kapursari, brother of Goldie Brar. Today we take full responsibility for the murder of Sukhdev Gogamedi. He used to back our enemies.”
