बता दें यह फिल्म 8 भाषाओं कन्नड़, हिंदी, तेलुगू, मलयालम, तमिल, बंगाली और अंग्रेजी में रिलीज हुई है।
कैसी है फिल्म की कहानी?
फिल्म वहीं से शुरू होती है, जहां पिछला भाग खत्म हुआ था। बच्चा एक सवाल पूछता है और उसे एक दंत कथा सुनाई जाती है। कहानी कंदब साम्राज्य के दौर की है। एक ओर भगवान शिव के उपासक कांतारा गांव वाले हैं, तो दूसरी ओर राजा विजयेंद्र (जयराम) का साम्राज्य।
गांववासी मानते हैं कि उनकी रक्षा ईश्वर के गण करते हैं। लेकिन राजा और उसका पुत्र कुलसेखर इस आस्था और शांति को चुनौती देते हैं। कुलसेखर गांववालों पर अत्याचार करता है, जिसे रोकने के लिए आदिवासी नेता बर्मे (ऋषभ शेट्टी) आगे आते हैं। अपनी रणनीति और साहस से वह कुलसेखर को चुनौती देता है और गुलिका अनुष्ठान से उसकी हत्या करता है।
इसके बाद कहानी में छल, रणनीति और पौराणिक विश्वासों का खेल और भी गहराता है। इस बीच कनकवती (रुक्मिणी वसंत) की एंट्री और जंगल के देवता पनजुरली की शक्ति रोमांच और रहस्य को और गहरा कर देती है।
कैसी है एक्टिंग?
ऋषभ शेट्टी ने बर्मे के रूप में गहरी छाप छोड़ी है। उनका परफॉर्मेंस सालों तक याद किया जाएगा। रुक्मिणी वसंत अपनी दमदार एक्टिंग और ग्रे शेड के साथ कहानी को नया आयाम देती हैं। जयराम और गुलशन देवैया अपने किरदारों में वजन और मजबूती लाते हैं।
डायरेक्शन और तकनीकी पहलू…
ऋषभ शेट्टी ने फिल्म का टोन रॉ और रियल रखा है। अरविंद एस. कश्यप की सिनेमैटोग्राफी जंगल और गांव की लोकेशन को शानदार ढंग से दिखाती है। प्रोडक्शन डिजाइन आदिवासी संस्कृति को बारीकी से दर्शाता है।
एक्शन सीन्स दमदार हैं और हल्के कॉमेडी सीन फिल्म को मनोरंजक बनाते हैं। हालांकि कुछ सीन्स लंबे लगते हैं और फिल्म की गति धीमी कर देते हैं। हिंदी डबिंग में कुछ भावनाएं उतनी गहराई से नहीं आ पातीं।
फाइनल वर्डिक्ट
कंतारा चैप्टर 1 सिर्फ फिल्म नहीं, बल्कि एक अनुभव है। यह लोककथाओं, आस्था और जंगल की रहस्यमयी दुनिया को दर्शाती है। शानदार अभिनय, सिनेमैटोग्राफी और दमदार संगीत फिल्म को खास बनाते हैं। हालांकि ग्राफिक्स और कुछ लंबे सीन कमजोर पड़ते हैं, लेकिन कुल मिलाकर फिल्म दर्शकों के लिए यादगार साबित होती है।
