A mysterious explosion occurred near the CRPF school in Rohini’s Prashant Vihar area, Delhi, on Sunday morning, triggering a swift police investigation. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident, but the blast caused damage to the school’s boundary wall, nearby shops, and a car, according to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS).
The DFS spokesperson said, “We received a call about a blast near the CRPF school boundary at 7:50 am. Two fire engines were dispatched immediately. However, there was no fire and no one was injured, so our vehicles returned after ensuring the area was safe.”
Emergency services, including bomb squads and police forensic teams, arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the explosion. Senior police officers from the crime branch and Special Cell also reached the spot to supervise the ongoing investigation. Authorities are analyzing the blast site to determine the source of the explosion.
