Anmol, a 1,500 kg buffalo from Haryana, is not just any farm animal—she’s a star in the agricultural world and a social media sensation. Valued at ₹23 crore, Anmol has become the center of attention at major agricultural events across India, including the Pushkar Mela and the All-India Farmers’ Fair in Meerut. Known for her massive size, impressive pedigree, and exceptional breeding potential, Anmol is setting new standards in the world of livestock.
However, Anmol’s luxurious lifestyle comes with a hefty price tag. Her owner, Gill, spends around ₹1,500 daily on her diet, which is designed to keep her in top shape for exhibitions and breeding. The diet includes a carefully curated mix of high-calorie foods and dry fruits. Each day, Anmol consumes 250 grams of almonds, 30 bananas, 4 kg of pomegranates, 5 kg of milk, and an impressive 20 eggs. Along with these, she also enjoys oil cake, green fodder, ghee, soybeans, and corn—foods that ensure she remains healthy and strong.
In addition to her extravagant diet, Anmol’s grooming is no less luxurious. She is bathed twice daily, and her coat is treated with a special mixture of almond and mustard oil to keep it glossy and healthy. Despite the high costs, Gill is deeply committed to providing the best care for Anmol, even to the extent of selling her mother and sister in the past to fund her upkeep. Anmol’s mother was known for producing 25 liters of milk per day, but her valuable genetics and Anmol’s potential were seen as a bigger investment.
Anmol’s rise to fame not only highlights the growing interest in high-value livestock but also reflects the significant investment involved in breeding and maintaining such prized animals.
