Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters, praised the unprecedented victory in Haryana, marking a historic achievement. For the first time in the state’s history, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a third consecutive term in power.
“Haryana was formed in 1966, and since then, 13 elections have been held. In 10 of these, people voted to change the government,” PM Modi said, highlighting the political shift in the state’s history. “For the last three elections, the people have shown trust in us. It is the first time that a government has managed to secure not just two terms, but also win a third one.”
He expressed his gratitude to the people of Haryana for their overwhelming support. “The people of Haryana have not only re-elected us but have done so with a stronger mandate, giving us more seats and a higher vote share. Their trust in our leadership is clear, and we are committed to serving them with even greater dedication.”
This victory, PM Modi emphasized, reflects the growing confidence of the people in the BJP’s vision for Haryana’s future.
