Raghav Chaddha ,Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP)  Rajya Sabha MP has once again Limelighted  the arbitrary policy of  Airlines looting the passenger with their heavy pricing policy. He emphasised basically on the ongoing rush in Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 where people not only from different states of the country but also from different parts of the world are reaching Prayagraj UP to take holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.

“Maha kumbh is the largest spiritual and faith event for Sanatan Dharma. Its After 144 years, this grand Mahakumbh is being celebrated in Prayagraj Uttarpradesh  attracting millions of devotees from around the world who wish to take a holy dip and engage in ‘sadhana’ and ‘tapasya.’ However, it is disheartening to see some airlines exploiting this occasion by significantly hiking flight fares. While the usual flight ticket to Prayagraj costs around Rs 5,000 to Rs 8,000, devotees are now facing charges of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000. This profiteering has left many devotees disheartened” He mentioned. 

He appealed to the Indian Government to take serious Actions and to look into the matter As soon as possible.

Earlier Raghav Chaddha brought up the topic of  loot policy of airports with heavy duties on eatery and beverages such as Samosa, Poha , Indian Masala Chai being sold at 10 times their actual prices.

After this, for the very first time the newly inaugurated Udaan Yatri Cafe at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport has turned the narrative on its head serving snacks at prices as cheap as Rs 10.

The response was overwhelming where passengers even thanked Raghav for bringing the topic up.
