A sensational incident of sexual harassment of a seven-year-old child has come to light near a Garba pandal in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Two minor boys have committed this crime. Based on the complaint of the victim’s mother, the police have registered a case against the accused under the Indian Justice Code and POCSO Act. Police is investigating this matter.
A police officer said that according to the complaint of the mother of the victim child, this incident happened on the night of October 4. His son was playing in a garden near the Garba pandal. At the same time, two 13-14 year old boys sexually assaulted him. This entire incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the area. Police have taken CCTV footage into their possession.
A case has been registered against the accused in Kanadia police station. A police team is searching for both the accused. Wasim Iqbal, director of NGO ‘Aas’, which is helping the victim’s family, said that a person informed about the alleged sexual harassment. He said that the child is scared and in shock. Arrangements are being made for his counselling.
